Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) products are one form of security protection and IBM invested heavily in market with its 2006 purchase of Internet Security Services (ISS). Now, as CIO Update reports, IBM has released a major and unique update to its IPS offering by leveraging technology it acquired in the ISS purchase.
